Introduction

The DVS integrated module of distributed fiber optic vibration sensing system integrates ultra-narrow linewidth light source, AOM acousto-optic modulator, pulsed EDFA, optical circulator, Raman amplifier, DVS coherent receiver module, etc., which only needs to be matched with a high-speed data acquisition card to make a set of DVS distributed vibration measurement system.

The module is highly integrated, small in size, and uses an independent intellectual property coherent receiver module with high coherent detection signal-to-noise ratio, which increases the sensing distance of the distributed fiber optic vibration sensing system. 

The module is specially designed to provide high-quality supporting products and solutions for distributed fiber optic vibration sensing and perimeter security equipment vendors.

The following is the dimensional drawing of DVS integrated module and acousto-optic modulator driver, the overall size of DAS integrated module is 200*160*40mm, without connectors and fiber optics, in order to ensure the thermal performance of the module, when installing the module, you should make sure To ensure the heat dissipation performance of the module, a good ventilation environment should be ensured when installing the module. The fiber optic flange and coaxial connector should be protected by the corresponding protective cap when not in use to avoid soiling the connector. When the module is not in use, please protect them with the corresponding protective caps to avoid dirtying the connectors.

FAQ

Q:What is the spatial resolution of your 40KM DVS module and what about the 20KM one?
A:The spatial resolution is related to the acquisition parameters of the acquisition card. In our equipment, the spatial resolution of 40KM is 5m, 20KM is 2m, and 10KM can be 1.5m.


Q:DVS and DAS, what is the difference between them?
A: dvs is a qualitative measurement, detecting vibration by amplitude, but amplitude and vibration are not linear, das is phase demodulation, the demodulated phase is completely linear with vibration and can completely recover the vibration or sound signal.

Q:Buy this module can be used directly, do you need anything else?
A:
Buying this module directly is not enough to make up a complete distributed fiber optic vibration monitoring system, you also need to buy the acquisition card, and industrial control machine (computer) hardware. After the hardware is ready, you also need to develop your own software for distributed fiber optic sensing.
