GY-FBG Fiber Optic Grating Demodulator Module, wavelength range from 1525nm to 1565nm,4/8/16 channels selectable
GY-FBG series fiber grating demodulator module can be matched with various fiber grating sensors, through the detection of grating wavelength changes to achieve the purpose of monitoring temperature, strain, pressure and other physical quantities. The wavelength range is from 1525nm to 1565nm, and the wavelength, light intensity and spectral data of the grating to be measured can be reported to the host computer through the serial port RS232.

The FBG Fiber Bragg Grating Demodulator is normally polled at x pm intervals to emit light at different wavelengths, with a scanning range of 1525nm to 1567nm. The sensors are calibrated at the factory, and different wavelengths correspond to different physical quantities (as shown below). When we use the demodulator to transmit light to the sensor (grating), external influences will cause the fiber to deform and then be able to filter out different wavelengths of light. We can monitor the physical quantity by monitoring the wavelength returned by the grating sensor.
