BPD480 is a high-performance 1GHz high-speed balanced photodetector (BPD) specially designed for precision coherent optical detection systems and high-speed near-infrared optical signal measurement. Core built with two precisely matched InGaAs photodiodes and a high-performance low-noise transimpedance amplifier, it achieves an outstanding common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of >25dB, and realizes effective signal subtraction processing for the two detected optical signals—this unique design can efficiently eliminate common-mode noise in the optical system, accurately capture tiny changes of valid signals from complex interference noise, and greatly improve the signal-to-noise ratio of weak light detection. Covering a 1000-1700nm near-infrared spectral range with a high responsivity of 0.9A/W @1550nm, the BPD480 boasts an ultra-wide 1GHz bandwidth (400k-1GHz) and an ultra-fast 400ps rise time, ensuring high-speed and high-precision capture of dynamic optical signals.
