Model | Wavelength range | Feature Notes | Links |
---|---|---|---|
BBPD30 | 800-1700nm | Bias photodetector, without amplification, suitable for light detection at the mW level of optical power. | view |
PD10C-NIR | 800-1700nm | PIN photodiode, low speed, high gain, suitable for nW~uW level weak light power detection | view |
PD10A | 800-1700nm | Based on PIN photodiode, high speed (200M-1G), but also a very high gain, suitable for uW level optical power detection | view |
APD20 | 800-1700nm | Based on APD photodiode, high speed (10M-400M), while having high gain, suitable for nW~uW level optical power detection. | view |
DMX60 | 800-1650nm | PIN type, high speed (6G - 40G), without amplification. | view |
The above 5 series are all 800-1700nm photodetectors with peak wavelength at 1550nm; users choose according to their optical power size, if the optical power is at the mW level it is recommended to choose BBPD30 without amplification, if at the uW level it is recommended to choose PD10A, if weaker choose PD10C-NIR or APD20.
The recommended order is: bias without amplification > PIN with amplification > APD with amplification, under the condition of meeting the use requirements. Because the linearity of PIN is better, the structure is simple and not sensitive to temperature, and the key is the cheap cost.
