At an open-air conveyor belt facility in Shanxi Province, China, a customer is using our full-clock synchronous DAS module paired with a 1G high-speed data acquisition card to monitor the condition of the conveyor belt idlers.

Project Process

  1. The customer purchases DAS integrated modules and high-speed data acquisition cards from YB Photonics.
  2. The customer installs the DAS modules and data acquisition cards in their own chassis and configures a server to process the data.
  3. Optical cable installation is performed on-site at the conveyor belt location.
  4. The installed optical cables are connected to the DAS host.
  5. On-site personnel calibrate and align the conveyor belt’s position.
  6. The system is started to acquire signals, which are then analyzed for fault characteristics. Based on the calibration data, the system displays location-specific alerts.
