In Shunde, Guangdong, China, a customer is using our DVS all-in-one unit on Tietong's communication lines to monitor unauthorized construction activities involving optical cables along highways.

Project Process

  1. Purchase a DVS all-in-one hardware unit from YB Photonics.
  2. Customers develop application software based on our capture card interface.
  3. At the project site, the customer installed the DVS all-in-one unit in the equipment room and used an OTDR to verify the link quality before the equipment was officially connected to the fiber optic cable.
  4. Use a hammer to calibrate the position along the route so that the geographic location corresponds to the fiber length displayed in the software.
  5. Start the system, acquire signals, analyze the signals for fault characteristics, and display location-based alerts based on calibration data.
