The Fiber Optic Grating Tilt Sensor FBG-S-T-L-01 has a linear relationship between reflected wavelength and tilt angle. It is suitable for temporary or permanent monitoring, and can be easily constructed into a distributed sensor network by connecting multiple or other types of fiber optic grating sensors in series for real-time monitoring. The FBG-S-T-L-01 is surface mounted and the sensor can be structured as a two-axis combination. The sensor has a wide range of inclination monitoring applications, such as: bridge pylons, power pylons, high-rise buildings, but also can be used for shield tunnel convergence deformation monitoring, landslide monitoring and so on.
